✨ Wednesday is a Solar Eclipse in the sign of Libra.

This type of Eclipse often coincides with significant world events, but can coincide with personal events as well. Because every Solar Eclipse is also a New Moon, this time is about the closing of one or more cycles and the very early beginnings of a new one.

Though it will peak in the early afternoon, this Eclipse will not be visible from the continental US.

💖Symbolism of this Eclipse
The sign of Libra is about relating to others, about justice and fairness, and about finding true balance and harmony in all areas of our lives.

That being said, it’s a South Node eclipse, meaning that there are some expressions of those qualities we need to move away from. My interpretation is that we need to leave behind our fear of rocking the boat. We need to ditch the false sense of “harmony” that comes from staying quiet and from people-pleasing. I think it also calls us to see where we refuse to engage in meaningful conversation that prevents justice or fairness from really being upheld.

💖Additional Astrology of this Eclipse
The Sun and Moon will be next to Mercury in the sky, and they will form a challenging square to Mars, which is now hanging out in the sign of Cancer for the foreseeable future. I suspect some folks will either be the perpetrator or recipient of passive aggressive behavior, but the Mercury-Mars square could also mean that someone lashes out with fighting words after holding something in for far too long.

Luckily, this Eclipse coincides with a Grand Trine of planets in water signs, so my advice is to get in touch with your feelings. Dig deep, question yourself, journal, meditate…whatever you need to do to get a crystal clear understanding of how you’re feeling about a challenging situation. Once you have that understanding, you can proceed with expressing all of your emotions in a more productive way.

Because Lunar Eclipses are New Moons, we get to engage with intention setting. If that's your thing, use the time from Monday - Wednesday to consider the following prompts:

Which relationships really feed me? Which have equal give and take, and how can I prioritize those and/or draw in more relationships like that?
In what ways does it feel really good to be creative? How can I make x,y,z act of creativity part of my weekly routine?
How can I put ______ area of life back into balance?
How am I participating in true justice or fairness, either in my personal life or out in the world? If I’m not, how can I start?
How can I add more beauty to my life and to the lives of those around me?

Don't forget to consider what house of your chart the Eclipse is occurring in. That can also give you clues as to where in your life this energy may show up!

💖Who might experience this Eclipse the strongest?
Since the Eclipse falls at 10 degrees of Libra, anyone with planets or angles between 9-11 degrees of Libra and Aries will feel it strongest, followed by those who have things at 9-11 degrees of Capricorn & Cancer!
